"UMPIRES were forced top intervene after a verbal exchange between Australia’s Matthew Wade and South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi almost got physical.

With Wade fresh to the crease after Australia suffered a top-order batting collapse in the fourth one-day international in Port Elizabeth, it didn’t take long for Shamsi to get stuck into him.

The pair, neither of whom are known for taking a backwards step, exchanged several verbal barbs as the spinner walked back to his mark.

But things went a step further when, while running through for a single on the following ball, Wade appeared to make a bee-line directly for Shamsi.

The pair narrowly avoided making contact, despite Wade appearing to hang his shoulder or elbow out."

I'm just waiting for the usual B/S from Sutherland, Leahman, Marsh & Howard et al about how their selections were justified & how well the team really played despite being caned. These teflon fools never seem to learn from their mistakes.
