CA are saying the reports are incorrect, FWIW
Ch. Nein v CA.
The truth is the first victim in that war.

CA may as well have kneecapped Santa. Regional sports broadcasting has more bipartisan support than national security. Which may actually be a bit of an indictment on our national psyche.

The call of Steve Waugh's scg century is still a classic. Calling it on the radio without pointing Waugh was a aunt was masterful.

Great news for fans across Oz. The ABC can make its Budget by cutting Macca, Landline, the Country Hour and Back Roads.

Re: 'Successor' to Sutherland?
These are sound business decisions. I see no reason why ABC programming should cater to sectional interests.

It's in their charter. They could save s shitload turning the Melbourne operation into just another local set up.

Re: 'Successor' to Sutherland?
union fees should be paid directly to the ABC Board rather than being filtered through government; that'd save money

Roberts is just a Sutherland MiniMe. I suspect we will just get more of the same.

Re: 'Successor' to Sutherland?
For the record, I played against Roberts quite a few times in juniors. I once had him dropped at mid wicket. Other than that, I was cannon fodder for a guy who was scoring tons in first grade at age of 17.

Just because he could bat doesnt mean he is not a qunt. Just look at Wade.

Re: 'Successor' to Sutherland?
The first item on his agenda should be to sack Pat Howard. The second item should be to restore the Sheffield Shield. If he fails in either of those, he is just another CA qunt.
Re: 'Successor' to Sutherland?
Spot on Mr Dog. CA will continue to count the gold. That's all that matters. The present Board needs a keel hauling similar to that done to the Soccer Board this week.

Re: 'Successor' to Sutherland?
Not a great start to know he has a fractured relationship with the ACA after being the chief salary negotiator with CA that held the cricketers to ransom for so long.
