Harding at 6 under. Get him on tv, ffs.
Corey Conners also worth noting. A Monday qualifier for the Texas open last week. Won that and got into this tournament. T8 so far at 4 under.

Re: The Masters
Lightning stops play with Jison Dy one of three out front, would have been four if new boy Saff Harding hadn't clagged 18, Adam S one shot back, also threatening to get seriously involved is some old fart called Woods who apparently was quite good a few years back.....

Re: The Masters
Scott misses a tiddler on 16 to drop back to equal leader on -7 along with 4 others, including Jason Day.

Re: The Masters
Terrific tight tournament nearing the halfway point. There are umpteen chances. At the moment I am favouring Louis.

How good would Adam Scott be if he could putt?

Re: The Masters
Anyway, Tiger on a Roll, to make a Grand National pun...
Five tied for the lead one shot ahead of him. Looks like quite some battle over the weekend.

Re: The Masters
So Molinari, Finau and Woods galloped while Scott and Day stood still. I suppose the only interest now is whether Tiger can complete a remarkable career comeback.
Oh well, for another year.

Re: The Masters
Molinari eerily similar to the recent WGC Matchplay. All the matches he won, barely made any bogeys there. Then his semi final was a bit of a car crash.

Re: The Masters
Koepka misses at the last and it’s in the bag for Tiger, barring a Van de Velde...

Re: The Masters
He needed that extra shot in hand... I thought Koepka would win it most of the way, as he’s the player in the habit of closing out majors at the moment. But Tiger wasn’t to be denied, that hole where everyone else seemed to find the water was the difference.
Adds to the legend and still a shot at Nicklaus’s record.

Still not going to be much consolation when time comes to explain the Pirelli calendar to the kids.

Re: The Masters
Meh, I imagine his kids don't want for anything and are now well used to the separate lives of their Mum and Dad.
But a remarkable comeback story. I wonder if he has any more Majors left in him. I know the US press is waxing lyrical about his chances of surpassing the Bear's record of 18.
He now sits at 15. Another 4 seems a big ask.

Re: The Masters
He keeps playing like that and a few more take the power game out of the equation. Looks like his woes might have done wonders for his inner dickhead at any rate.

Re: The Masters
Aye. But he'd be a fool not to learn from his travails.
I note his last back operation was a spinal fusion. Typically that tends to transfer the stress that was being felt by the now fused disk to the disks above and below the fusion.
Golf is notoriously the single worst thing you can do to your back (and I agree from personal experience) so it'll be interesting to see if his back stands up to the rigours of the tour to get anywhere near Jack's imposing Majors record.

Well he has enough money so he could probably cut down on the con jobs him and Mickelson perpetrated.

Re: The Masters
Well seeing we're talking about Tiger, churlish is almost the right word to describe his past demeanor on course. Petulant being a tad better.
