Re: Pakistan v Australia, 1st Test, Dubai, 7-11 October, 2018
Stannie As did not play a specialist spinner. Still useful batting practice. Michelle to Holland. Possible he could be selected ahead of Agar.

Holland defo deserves to be in in front of Agar. And will be, you'd expect.

Ye Gods. TAYPOC.
IS starc the only player who would have made one of the 1993 to 2007 sides?

Starc has more Test sixes than anyone else on either side Winter really is coming for Aussie cricket...
Who’s going to open with Finch? Khawaja? Paine? Someone else?

Long 2 days ahead for Aus.

Holland gets a wicket. Good third session.
Turning point could have been the devestating spell from Mere. Yes it was only one over and he went for five but it showed a masterstroke from cbnlg and Paine. The Stannies clearly wet the bed. Just know the cons had him in reserve clearly unsettled them.
In another tactical masterstroke cbnlg is batting at 4. Now he no longer has the worst record in Test history as a number 6,: he now has a chance to establish himself as the worst number 4 in history.

We did well to keep them under 500. Typical honest effort from SIDS. Good we did not lose a wicket.
