We've been on holiday to Israel 3 times. Fabulous country to visit in general despite all the troubles and the Dead Sea is an amazing place to spend time. Just like the Amazon rain forests being destroyed every day, the Dead Sea is tragically being wiped out. We've sat on she shores outside the Tsell Harim hotel countless times and watched as dusk fell and the lights started going on across the water in Jordan. The night skies in Israel are also amongst the clearest and best i have ever witnessed. I've only ever seen more stars when i walked into Pizza Hut in Gateshead without opening the glass door first.
