The Walking Dead
Daryl Dixon rocks. A pure hearted red-necked southerner. Gotta have a hunter-killer in the pack of those ghosting through S1 but S2 is starting to really built.
S1 - survive, collect the guns, get to the CDC, escape the explosive CDC wipe-out. Now the remainders battle the herds of Walkers. Daryl is the man.

Season 2 dragged on a bit in the middle, but picked right up at the end.

Re: The Walking Dead
I thought every episode of S2 was pretty tense and thoroughly enjoyable to watch.
Aye, Daryl rocks.

Re: The Walking Dead
Rented the first season, watched the first 3 episodes.... cracking stuff.
Took me 2 eps to realise the bit of fluff was from Prison Break.

Dr Tancredi. She's a bit stringy these days.
Still, zombie apocalypse: you take what you can get.
Did you notice that Rick Grimes is Egg from 90s BBC drama This Life?

Re: The Walking Dead
You didn't miss anything, re: This Life. Bobbins. Like everything from the mid-90s, when people thought Ocean Colour Scene were the epitome of rock and roll.
Jack Davenport was in This Life too. He's started popping up in American shows lately - as well as Pirates of the Caribbean.
Just an extra useless factoid to mull over.

Aye, at the time I thought it was cool, til about third of the way through. Then I watched it for another third and then thought it was time to grow up. Thought about that This Life 10 years later but then thought I'd rather have a cabbage enema whilst eating foie gras and gravel.

No, longer than that. I'm thinking maybe '94 to '97 then the 10 years later thing... well, 10 years later.
Re: The Walking Dead
Damn straight she's stringy. She was tidy in PB with a bit of meat on that arse and titties but is a waif in TWD.Dello wrote:Dr Tancredi. She's a bit stringy these days.
Making my way through S2 now. Looks OK.

Now that's just a tease. Who'd have thought PB was Prison break, and there I went feverishly searching if she had posed nude.skully wrote:Damn straight she's stringy. It's obvious, isn't it? They're post-apocalypse. Barely a burger place still open.
