A jolly return of 0 & 4 for the Ginger Whinger.
England 4-28.
You can't be on the plane yet, there's still 2 Tests to go.

Does anyone else feel that the honeymoon period for England playing T20 in test matches ended some time ago? The only surprise for me is that anyone is surprised with the way things are going, playing in the hardest test conditions any touring team faces. This talk of ''we will make however many we need batting last, even 500 is ludicrous''. I said this would be 4-1 after the first test and it really looks that way.

The Pom commentator has been saying Root has improved under Bazball ( Swann or Knight)
Root averages 49.53 in Tests
52.8 when Cook was the skipper
46.44 when he was the captain
He averages 51.67 under Stokes (21 Tests) and his scoring rate is 20 runs per 100 balls quicker.
However ...his last 9 Tests from the start of the last Pomgolian summer he is averaging 38.85 . Lot of Bazball dismissals in those tests
Maybe time for Joe to go back to 'proper Test battin'

England rapidly heading to their 2nd worst ever loss by runs (currently by 425 runs v WI at OT in 1976).
Their worst was to Aus by 562 runs at The Oval in 1934.

Asked about a realistic target in the fourth innings, Duckett replied: “The more the better. This team is all about doing special things and creating history. They can have as many as they want and we’ll go and get them.”
You fxuking what?
And this should make Horrie ecstatic:
This was the first of two wickets in the space of 10 balls as Jonny Bairstow suffered a record eighth duck in India, overtaking a string of tailenders in the process.
England 9-91. Nuff said.

All over. Jadeja gets his 5th as Wood slaps deep to Jaiswal at long off.
England's 2nd worst loss by runs and India's biggest ever win by runs.

I don’t want to come across all biased / angry fan. I mean England has quality players, not the least Duckett.
But that quite was unbelievable. There’s positive soon and then there wtf did he just say?Less mind games than losing his damn mind. As I said, this is cult level thinking. I’m expecting England to start singing and clapping in a circle in their next press conference.

The more the better when chasing in India batting last? Did Duckett really believe what he said? I'd have said the correct comment should have been something like ''anything over 300 will really take some getting but if 3 or 4 of our top order turn up it's possible''.

Feels like 3-0 England and credit to them for teaching players with FC SRs of 80 to attack, but got to respect that they're not a patch on the pitch whinging that the Australians are.

Bazzball seems to be the cricket version of always playing out from the back in football. When it comes off everyone says how skillful the team is and when you present the opposition with gift-wrapped presents you look total tools. But I can't see how a game played over 5 days can be planned as if it's meant to last 4 hours or so.
