Kohli's out of the next two Test, pretty selfish of him given that it's only their second child his wife and he are expecting. Back in the day real men wouldn't see their children until such time as they'd learned to hold a cricket bat, and if they weren't decent at it, sometimes not even then.
As per Guardian, rumours of Bumrah being rested.
With NoHit showing his craptitude, Gill hanging by a thread, and Mukesh Kumar bowling pies, I'm expecting a call up any time soon.

Turns out this wasn’t right; the press got it wrong and AbdV has apologised for “sharing false information”
We don’t know what it is but I do wish Kohli the best. He’s now out for the series.

Yikes. Hope all is well in the Kohli circles.

he's 35 so they need to start succession planning at some point. both in the cricketing sense and the marketing sense.

So the meticulous planning England brought their own chefs to India but forgot the visa rules and visas for their players who sauntered off mid tour for some golf (which, of course, can't be had in a city like Bengaluru).
The ECB coming across as a proper clown board everywhere apart from the first team itself. Their planning for the WC was also woeful.

No they're all fine. Rehan Ahmed had a single entry visa. Went off to the UAE and couldn't enter again but for an emergency visa issued for him.
This is following the Bashir visa where the team thought they could get the stamping done in the UAE when it was allowed only in the UK. Extremely basic stuff tbh.

Wood grabs a couple of quick wickets (Jaiswal & Gill) to have India 2-24

Root may have drooped the series here.
Rohit went for a swipe over mid-on off Hartley but the ball bit and turned. Root was looking where it was going to land and barely got a finger on a routine slips catch. Very poor.

And so it comes to pass. Root's pisspoor attempt at catching a sitter from Rohit when he was in his 20s (due to momentary loss of concentration by both Rohit and Root), has now been converted into a Nohit 100. India now 3-202.
Cue 500+ from India and a collapse by England.

Jadeja passes the 3000 run, 250 wicket Test milestone. He's only the 12th to do so, and he's one of the few to have the batting average > 30, bowling average < 30 desired in an all-rounder. He's had incredible results in Test cricket, far exceeding the initial expectations of even the most ardent Indian supporter.

he is a fine player and pretty handy in the field as well.
The thing I most admire is his ability to rise to the occasion

A mere 86 overs from the Poms with 50 bowled by their spinners.
It really is a form of cheating.
They can cop another penalty for this infamous spirit of cricket tactic.

Match referee gives them an allowance for fetching the ball out of the stands
