Still planning on it at the moment ... a month off, June or July, hopefully visiting two or three Tests with 'touring' in between. Ticket availability will be the issue.
Aren't you going to Alaska next year?

Breaking news: Warnie has hinted that if he's still fit and rolling them out well for Hampshire, he may make himself available for the Aus 2009 Test squad.

Maybe there is a God after all. It would certainly be a strong sign.

Re: 2009 Ashes series - anticipation thread
I didn't make it up but I think it's bullsh!t. A bunch of callers to 2KY Spiv radio claim to be in the know and are certain that Warnie has vowed to keep fit in readiness for Ashes 2009. Personally, I think it's a load of tosh, but a half fit 39 year old Warnie has to be worth 3 Hogggyyy!!!s and a couple of McDills, doesnt he?tac wrote:did you just make that up, skull? Five pages in three days with no cricket of note around and the point of the thread 18 months away.
Wasn't here then but must have been good times.
The Athens Olympics threads ran to eighty pages with some days generating five or six.

Beijing? Or London perhaps, there would have no doubt been plenty of posts on here for that one.
Was more recently that postings dropped off dramatically, I left this place for a couple of years and it was a bit of a ghost town when I came back.

Re: 2009 Ashes series - anticipation thread
I was just trawling old threads trying to find my first post and searched for Olympics. Forget the amount of posts on a single thread, there were dozens of threads devoted to the olympics.
