Pence scares me more than Trump.

Trump does have a point if you see it from his side. He has survived over 70 years with no intelligence.

Well given the controversy over the size of The Donald's hands, Grow A Penis is even more appropriate.

And it's a shame he isn't the current Aust Deputy PM - he could tell his boss to Grow A Spine.

Jaysus Shocked

http://www.smh.com.au/world/donald-trump-shown-claims-of-russian-efforts-to-compromise-him-cnn-20170110-gtp8qy.html

He hired prostitutes to perform a sex act commonly known as a "golden shower" on the bed where the Obamas had previously slept, the material read.

"The hotel was known to be under FSB [Russian secret service] control with microphones and concealed cameras in all the main rooms to record anything they wanted to."

The event was believed to have happened in 2013, the British operative's memo said.

A source told the operative that Trump's "unorthodox behaviour in Russia over the years had provided the authorities there with enough embarrassing material on the [then] Republican presidential candidate to be able to blackmail him if they so wished."

8 days....

I can't even begin to explain how depressing everything was last year.

I'm still in a state of numb shock that he's the 45th. Paddy power have him at 4/1 to be impeached within 6 months of inauguration for crying out loud. 4/1!

Accusations of rape, sexual harassment, racism, neoptism, conflicts of interest, spying, deceit, collusion with foreign governments, water sports and much much more before he's even taken office.

At his first presidential press conference Trump took the opportunity to stick it to the intelligence agencies for leaking Russian intel on him. Odd strategy - get off side with those collecting info that they need to protect you. And of course the fake news line got plenty of air. What a dill.

Aye, skulls - hard to disagree with a single word here ...... not smart at all on the part of the Trumpster.

But .........

......... these are the same organisations that told the world with a straight face that Saddam had WMD which could be launched in 45 minutes, which anyone who ever did military service (and plenty who didn't) knew was complete and utter cobblers. They've spread so much disinformation over the last few decades that their credibility is questionable, to say the least.

Furthermore, the whole thing has more holes than a tatty old string vest - not least that some of the allegations are meant to go back 4 - 5 years or so. Bearing in mind that the thought of political office wasn't even a fantasy for DT at that time. Seriously, do you honestly believe that Putin is such an oracle that he foresaw Trump becoming POTUS and set him up? It's stretching the bounds of credibility to breaking point IMHO.

Crikey, even the Grauniad (probably the most vocal critic of Mr Putin in our media) has doubts on the credibility of this one.

Personally, I'd be surprised if Russia hadn't tried to interfere in some way - but nobody yet has the slightest bit of proof that they've actually done so. If more of the media the world over made the distinction between allegation and proven fact, and reported accordingly, p'raps people would be somewhat less cynical. That applies to media on both sides of the political divide ...... there's almost as much of exaggeration on t'interweb regarding Bill and Hillary as there is the Donald - but most of it never sees the light of day in the mainstream press and TV channels. Don't you ever wonder why that is, my friend?

I got him about those odds on leaving office prior to his current term expiring for any reason other than death by assassination. Apparently the only ones with guns who might use them love him, so that's at really long odds.
