Aye, well Dello has a Trev-like ability to underrate and overrate. Dunno about Ponts, though. The rest have their moments.
Re: Is Steyn a one year wonder?
I assume Dello must be working on some masterpiece advent calendar, with dental charts

Going on some old posts I read, he's probably out identifying which cricketers look the most svelte.

I'd like to point out, that when it comes to identifying talent I've been pretty much spot on throughout my four years here.
I don't think I get enough credit for that.

You obviously don't shout and scream enough when you get it even half-right then. I thought you knew how to act on FB
Re: Is Steyn a one year wonder?
Or you think you've said something, but really you just kept it inside your head.

I was due. I hadn't done something really bad since 2002 when I woke up the next morning in a bus stop in brisbane using my trousers as a pillow

That's f**king weird, I did something very similar in 2002.
Smashed a window to sleep in the waiting room of a train station, ripped the tissue dispenser off the wall and used the pile of tissues as a pillow.

You could look at it another way and say I managed to seduce some normally astute cricket followers into subscribing to what appears to be a flawed theory given that he is the best fast bowler in the world by some distance.
One might say though that the only stain on Dale's escutcheon is a tendency at times not to bowl his best in the fourth innings of test matches which perhaps is a large factor in SA's proclivity for underperformance at home.

It's unlikely anyone will see it that way.
'appears to be a flawed theory' ... only in the sense that the Pope is Catholic, etc.

I have to call a few wrong just for balance. It's deliberate.
I knew all along he was both the beans and the toast. All along.

True, its a bit of a stretch to accept the dupes as astute cricket followers.

Ended up pondering whether that comment would elicit a login from the mighty Dello. Probs coincidence though.

This Stain chap, can someone tell me a bit about him? He seems a lively cove.
