To be fair, Peter Overton seemed very aware that they were giving Dick Smith a whole stack of free air time.

Re: Happy Australia Day
So ... what's on the agenda for Bailers today? Nothing special here this year although in past years I have often attended citizenship ceremonies, or at least the picnics associated with them, with friends originally from overseas who have decided to 'take the plunge' into Australian citizenship.
For me this year, it's a 40 over game of cricket, then a few beers with team mates and opponents, and then home for some garden clean-up work and I'd better clean the barbecue, since it hasn't been cleaned at all for a couple of years! All very low key.

Been to a 90th birthday party. The old duck whose birthday it was, celebrated by leading a conga line around the hall. Amazing.
Re: Happy Australia Day
Awesome. Crikey, I merely hope I'm still breathing at 90. Frankly, it's highly unlikely.

Re: Happy Australia Day
Had a good day with BabyK1. we went into the city to see the CarNivale - a whole stack of cars including a couple over 100 years old right up to the latest McLarens.
Best of all was being there at the end of the day as the owners started driving their cars home. Best of all was the F40 which I had seen several times before but never heard in all it's glory.
Second best of all was a live working De Lorean. Sadly, it never got up to 88mph.

Early morning jog on the beach. Quiet paddle around in the kayak. Barbie on the deck watching kids playing beach cricket and dickheads wiping out their jetskis
Perfect weather & a pretty good day
