Don't know why this one got the bump but I seem to have missed it first go around.
Celebrated with some Aboriginal mates on a beach. After a day on the piss we sent our fleet of union jacked bark ships out on the outgoing tide and toasted an efigy of Tony Abbott.

Bump.
Rosie Batty (a family violence campaigner whose 11yo was murdered by her psycho ex hubby after the kid's cricket training a few years ago) is Australian of the Year.
I am hopefully off to the SCG with K Jr1 tomorrow.

This forum could have been knighted if they were looking to promote a bit of Ancient Greek.

Re: Happy Australia Day
Rare that I get close to PMSL. But the Abbott trick immediately twigged a thought how the knighthood would go down with the Aussies on here.
It's a good day for the world though:
The birthplace of democracy regenerates itself. However hard the road ahead, and however unscrupulous and virulent the "neoliberal" propaganda will be.
And even better, the rapacious blasphemous gore-maddened butchers finally repelled from Kobane, it seems.

As they used to say in Scotland before the SNP turned up: "bonny fechters". In a good cause of human defence. Cheers to the Kurds. ATGs.
