Couldn't get up even after knowing that Tendulkar's 42nd ton is just round the corner? How could you do this?
BTW, Max will air highlights at 1900 hrs today.
You lucky Sod. You are fortunate if you are in a position to wake up at 3 in the dead night to watch the test. Some of us barely get in home by midnight these days and barely get in 6 hours of sleep before waltzing off to work again. Actually it's been like this for 3 weeks now.

Its not easy, I can tell you that. For starters, I've to watch the match in complete dark as I can't switch on the lights in the middle of night. You are fortunate if you are in a position to wake up at 3 in the dead night to watch the test
Next, I've to keep fending my wife's bouncers for disturbance I cause due to my actions.
After all this, I've report to my workplace at 8:15 in the morning and my workplace is 55-KM away from my home.
Life is tough as they say.

I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing "Hallelujah."Batman wrote:You lucky Sod. Congrats to the Little Master on his 42nd Test ton. Drunky has gone off the boil and may struggle now to hunt him down.

Sleep? What is that?
And the catch controversy was not a controversy at all. It was Ian Smith sooking and clutching at straws. Yes, Tendulkar does have his fingers underneath it. No, the ball does not bounce on the ground since Tendulkar's fingers are so obviously underneath it. No, the seam doesn't "change position" after bouncing here, it just normally rotates.

just saw the highlights. what a batting masterclass by the great man - cover drive, back foot drive, leg glance, square drive, late cut, straight drive, square cut, sweep, ramp over slips. only thing missing was a pull/hook. he seems to have recovered his majesty in the last couple of years

He's now got 85 international centuries in total, how many more could he get? Is 50 Test centuries or 50 ODI centuries, or even a remarkable 100 international centuries overall a possibility if he's got the hunger to go on for, say, 3 more years?

Don't think his body will last 3 years. The 2011 WC might well be the swansong

2011 is a certainty and one thinks he will play some test cricket after that. quite a possibility. if he didnt have that run of 90s in 2007 he would be half a dozen or so away

needs to bat higher up the order so he won't be constantly stranded 100 runs away from a ton.

Why isn't Viru batting?
Also, is there any player in the NZ side who would make the Indian side?

Neither would get in ahead of the opposite numbers though.

I dunno, I'd prefer to have Vettori in my team over Harbhajan, the latter's performance today notwithstanding.
