Re: New Zealand v India, 1st Test, Hamilton, March 18-22
Have they won a Test in Pakistan in the decade? Or even played one?

Incidentally this decade Aus has lost more tests against India than they have won.
This decade has been a giant curve for India in terms of it's reputation as a poor overseas team. We have won 16 tests at home [since Ganguly took over] and 12 outside India [Not counting tests against Zimboks and Bangars which amounts to 3 in India 7 outside India].
So while it is nearly a 50-50 ratio if all tests wins are counted, but talking specifically and discounting the Bangar-Zimbok games and considering just the 'proper' teams, it is still a good 43% win ratio outside from all tests won.
This has been one huge positive leap statistically.

Re: New Zealand v India, 1st Test, Hamilton, March 18-22
The most crazy thing is that since 2000, The Kiwis [just 2 tests], Windies and Lankans have toured India only once in 8 years. The Aussies and English have played thrice. SA and Pak twice. So barring the SA and Pak visits it has been a pretty skewed scheduling from ICC calender.....

I had this dream that Vettori scored 214 in the 2nd dig along with his first innings century.
If only.
Ban India.

Why? For winning a test match?

Very facile win.
India were absolutely clinical in this test save 2 moments when it looked that NZ were finally giving us some semblance of competition.
First was when Vettori and Ryder put on 186 for the 7th wicket and second McCullum's innings. Don't know why Dhoni allowed him easy singles.
Munaf's performance is perhaps the biggest plus of this test for us and may have solved the problem of 3rd seamer, albeit temporarily only.

Despite Bhajji's 6-for in the 2nd innings, I still think we'd be better off without him in away tests.
He is simply awful in away tests.
