tac - I'm sure the BCCI had some sinister reason for not wanting referrals. Or maybe just non-sinister ones.
Eek, 6!
Beamer - yeah, I remember him being a bit Kiwi. Didn't make the fiery crossing though. Oh well.

On further inspection, a top 5 with the oldest, most experienced player aged 25 with 15 tests behind him, followed by James 'number 9 at most when Vettori's at 8' Franklin at 6, does not bode well.

The Big Fella Ryder and Vet, need to really pull through this.
Hang in there until Bhajji comes on and then let the sledging begin.

nz running away with the game here. 60/6 ---> 132/6
seriously though, good toss to win it seems. or maybe the nz top order is just really crap. hopefully these two dont cause too much damage and we can have the sehwag show on by tonight

India has this uncanny knack of producing rearguard actions from the opposition bats.
We'll definitely rue this partnership.

Indeed, it is.
But thats the way NZ has batted in most of its test matches of late. Its lower middle order has to be one of the best in World cricket.

Dravid drops Vettori.
That was what we required at this stage.

I've lost the count of chances dropped by Dravid in the slips in last 18 months. Must be heartbreaking for the bowlers.
