have access to foxy (too stingy to pay myself)...the combo of rupert, Kjnr and the idiot wussie (is there another kind??) is too much for my blood pressure....Kjnr has become an absurdist exaggeration and caricature of the pro spiv outlook of glawson, simmo and benaud jnr

Can't argue with your description of MEW horrie. He has absorbed the outrageous Spiv bias of Lawson since Henry committed harikari and took on the Paksters.

The Joker is a Batman villain
Thanks M but I saw that connection. I even saw the movie but it seemed out of place after hearing Atapattu's speech. Atapattu used joker as a common noun.

Damn. I'm sure there's a line in there somewhere about a joker and a QCA Board member.

I asked your eldest daughter recently, and yes, she loves BJ . . . .

She is not naive in these matters and we talk freely as a family and she would find that crudely amusing.
BTW I have a question for you mate.
Coming up.

embee.
When giving an LBW what were you taught?
ie.
Height, outside leg ,clipped pad etc.
You can see Umpires like Bucknor ticking the mental boxes.
Can you enlighten what routine if any is taught if not what is yours?

You watch the ball as if it was going through to the keeper ....to take in as much information as possible
There are a series of questions you have to ask yourself ...the order is your own preference but I usually go
Has it hit the bat?
Was it going to hit the stumps?
Where did the ball pitch?
Has the batsman played a shot?
There are other factors you need to take into consideration ...like angle , ball movement , batsman's starting position and movement ...but the decision should be determined by your answers to the 4 questions...

Interesting order. Makes sense especially has it hit the bat being number one.
