I'm gonna argue with you on the no Torres no victories, I think it no Alonso no party, you need to get the ball to the strikers Liverpool are missing a creative player that can distribute the ball.

Aye. Didn't know what the rule was, but I was gobsmacked that it was allowed. Did the idiot ref claim not to have seen the deflection, or did he just not know the rules?Jontyh wrote:Apparently not. On MOD it was revealed that it was a foreign object on the field interfering with play and should have resulted with a dropped ball on the edge of the box.
Was a new one to me.
Still, p!ss funny that the beachball was thrown by a scouser supporter.

It looks like the fool didn't know as he's been demoted to the championship, or whatever it is now.
Yeah - what's the betting on the rags all turning up with a load of beachballs at the weekend?!

'Aparently' the rule in question doesn't refer to objects but 'outside agents' as people, i.e there's no specific rule concerning foreign objects on the pitch.
I might be wrong though. I probably am.

Tony Hibbert at centre back. For reals. The world's worst right back. At centre-back.

Scum must be emberrassed losing to a side that couldn't score against Sunderland

Should've buried the Hammers early doors second half ... their own fault Arsenal ... same give-away inHenry wrote:Arsenal screwed over by a soft as f*ck penalty.
Clog-land midweek in the CL ... 1 - 0 ahead, comfortable cruise, foot off the throttle ... 1 - 1.
The Hammers should never been allowed back into the game ... high time Wenger did something about
the squad giving games away when in control.... penalties are inevitable when wave after wave of attacks keep
coming in once the oppos get a scent of "fear".
F**king infuriating.... blew 2 points at Upton Park.
Oh well, one better than the Scum at Anfield anyway!
Anyone notice how the Jock's anger-fuelled brain is now too far ahead of his rheumatic feet ... as, with purple vein-bulging face, he stumbled out of his seat rather embarrassingly in protest at the Carragher foul !

Arsenal have a weak defence that's obvious. Taips is strangely absent from this thread for some reason!

The fact that Lampard got me 28 points on Fantasy Football is good enough for me to post in this thread.

Re: The Football Thread - 09/10
Fulham shouldn't have been allowed back in it - poor defending by us.
We'll not be a top 4 side shipping easy goals like that.
In fairness we lost the last three corresponding fixtures last season, so three draws this time round is an improvement. If we can win the game in hand that'd put us 1 point behind the Rags with 10 games gone and you'd have to be a churlish city fan not to be happy with that start.

Poor old Lever. His lot still haven't won a match. Even Posh have managed to win 2 and we can't defend at all.
In other news 3 Blackburn players have got swine flu, but our cup match at Ewood Park on Tuesday goes ahead. Oh joy!!!!!
