He must be close to conceding the most runs ever in a 3 test series. It's good to see him still breaking records as his career draws to a close.

Do you mean is 3/221 the worst match bowling figures?

If so, the answer is no. The following bowlers have all had worse match figures:

Well to be fair FS was probably spannered. Mohammad and Mahmood were on the receiving end of Sobers going beserk probably in revenge for Mohammad going beserk a month earlier. Well not so beserk as patiently whacking out a triple century.

Though they were all bowlers.

I'm hard pressed to find anyone (haven't checked the Bangers recent records) that has conceded 500+ in a 3 match series. Chuck stands at 514 with some to come yet.

Will have a closer look tomoz evening after Chuck has finished bowling. What chance 45-0-250-0? He'd have to snap up a couple of tired batsmen at some point, wouldn't he?
