You've got 'World's Best Chicken Soup' medal on it's way to you.
Re: Australian Tennis Open 2010 (Ana Watch)
Fed humiliates Tsonga today.
Should be good on SUnday. I reckon Murray's got the smarts to win it though.
Nice sidelight in the post match interview tonight. Fed was talking about Murray and all the pressure on him to because "no British player has won a major in about 150 thousand years". Needless to say the Aussie crowd PTSL.

Re: Australian Tennis Open 2010 (Ana Watch)
Shame on you JKL - my Federer would never do such a naughty thing.
He was merely pointing out the national pressure on Murray - a smart little manoeuvre from an opponent, if you ask me.
Anyhoo, sometimes when he plays it's magical. He crushed Tsonga last night.
Serena Williams vs Justine Henin - hope the latter wins, not that I dislike SW. H's comeback has been full of heart and a newfound love of the game. It's inspiring.

Well, if your record so far is anything to go by, put the house on Federer.JGK wrote:I reckon Murray's got the smarts to win it though.

Nope. Screams galore tonight with one of the Williams noise machines playing the wimmins final tonight.
And apparently some pubs in Scotland have been allowed to open at 8am to show Murray's final live.

Federer to win in a 5 setter.
Who's playing in the women's final? Henin v Serena, right?
Serena in 3.

Hey Bernard Tomic, please f*ck off and play for Croatia. Australia doesn't need another petulant middling-to-slightly-better-than-average spoilt brat tennis player.
Arrogant little turd.

So this Andy Murray fella.... is he any better than Tim Henman, OBE?
Couldn't resist one last *snigger* at Henman.

What is it with tennis and crazy parents? Why not golf?
also, imo tennis has long been too soft on player behaviour.

In Tomic's case TA spend tens (was reluctant to write hundreds but it could easily be) of thousands on his travel and accommodation and pay the old man $150k a year to "coach". They actually financially enduce that crazy parent. The kid has $1m in the bank. If he's any good he'll make it.

Aye - Craig Tiley should call Tomic's bluff. Can't believe the comment about how hard it was in Croatia when Bernard was growing up (although I note the hearsay in that bit).

Serena wins the first set. She's looking just that little bit too good.

Welly, well, well. Henin breezes through 4 straight games from 2-3 down to take S2.
Yeah, I know - like I really GAF.

Allowed? There's nothing to stop them opening then. The only thing they might have to get permission for (if they don't have the licence already, 'cos you can get a licence for 24 hours if you want it) is to be allowed to serve booze.

Incidentally, most of the players do seem to regard the Australian Open as their favourite Grand Slam. Wimbledon's the most important, but the Aussie is their favourite.

Bookies have installed Federer as favourite, probably worth a few bob on Murray the way he's been playing.
