Super Frankie Lampard once again proves that he's the best midfielder in the league and has been for a long time. Once again bums the "superior" Gerrard over the season, like he does most seasons. Only Fabregas is on the same level.

Goals - 26
Assists - 13

And that's in club football. Chuck in internationals and it's 33 goals and 16 assists. In 1 season. Aged 31.

Year after year and yet he's still underappreciated. Hopefully he'll be
one of those whose true value is recognised when he retires.
