Seems to be more than just another Cecs/Barca rumour unforch ...
He's actually asked for the transfer.

And if that is the case, then it's pointless holding on to him.
Bank the dosh IMO.

Why do they need Cesc, they already have better options in Xavi and Iniesta?

It's hard to see a place for him in their team. It's probably the only team in the world that he wouldn't be in the starting 11 for though.

The big team that really needs to spend shitloads on someone like Fabregas is MU, their midfield is so bad, it's sad.

looks like cesc is leaving. a big blow but if he wants to leave, let him go. we changed the formation to 4-3-3 to allow him more freedom and it worked, but to the detriment of the team. can go back to 4-2-2 next season. nasri, arshavin prefer playing centrally anyway.

hold out for £40m minimum, in fact id say closer to £50m given he's only 23 and the type of player he is he could maintain his level to 32/33.

although i can see his pov, id have expected him to stay one more year.

and he'd get into the barca team, iniesta would shift to the wing.

barca getting villa too for £40m.

As the ultimate pessimist, I'm going to make an optimistic prediction for the play-off Final.

2-1 to Cardiff.

Any reason or was this done to suit Indian TV as well?

Don't be silly. It's only done for Indian TV in tournaments where highly-fancied Indian teams can crash and burn in the early stages.

India? Football? What? There's only a billion people. C'mon, with that small population base, they can't be expected to put together any sort of national football team. snigger

Careful skulls, we've got them in the first round of the Asian Cup next year. Comments like that are bound to increase the banana skin potential.

Bitter moi? Well maybe a little... Twisted Evil

Mourinho has already equalled Ferguson's haul of Champions League victories. He is currently one of the greatest managers of all time, and the astonishing thing is that he is only 47. If he carries on for another 15-20 years he could smash all records.
