Kotla had too much reputation of being a dead track.

May be curator wanted to change that opinion. Besides this is a newly laid track being used for the first time for int'l cricket.

Atleast Kumble wasn't shocked when he last went to Australia. Infact that series one of his best ever series and easily his best ever overseas series.

Thats how bad Pak batsmen have played Kumble & co today.

BTW Indian bowlers are still nowhere near the exalted standards of appealing set by their Australian counterparts.

He should be given the exposure..and used for ODI's while the frontline seamers are saved for tests.

I would preferebly take VRV also.
