Very true.

We should not forget VRV, and Australian tour is a good opportunity to test the worth of all our budding seamers.

I'm referring more to the contrast between this pitch and the bounce in the pitches SL just played on. Kumble is a very bowler . . . my favourite Indian bowler.
BTW I would imagine that Indian will pick the bowlers that Aus least like playing against. Harby has to be in the top 2 or 3 . . .

Yep, I'd go with that with Kumble, Bhajji and may be Kartik to be the spinners.

Bounce on Australian decks is a given.tac wrote:SG wrote:Atleast Kumble wasn't shocked when he last went to Australia. Bhajji will go, save a shocking series against Pak a la '06 or some injury concern.

And one of these pacers should be named India's captain since Kumble won't be going.

lol
Now the situation is getting a bit dicey .. if Indians get 10 overs or so to bat till the end of the day. If a wicket is to fall it must do so now.. so that there are a solid 30 overs or so to face.

Misbah-ul-Haq makes his highest score in tests. Can he finally reach a test 50?

Only 12 overs left, its better for BCCI XI that these two bat till end of day.

India have obviously been taking lessons from England in how to bowl to the tail.

Fair enough, maybe it is us who have taken lessons from India.SG wrote:India doesn't need lessons for that. Its world leader in that area.doctorspin wrote:India have obviously been taking lessons from England in how to bowl to the tail.
Either way, pretty pathetic although Misbah and Sami did play well and responsibly (unlike Shoaib who gifted his wicket.)
