Aye Nath more to it than people drifitng away from the longer form of the game.
Obviously just a co-incedence the crowds are dropping off when Australia is not going well.

Shoite cricket deserves only the shoite players ... didn't even know this game was on.
The Shield match is far more interesting, even though WA is 150+ behind on the first innings. Test claims being pressed by S Marsh and Ferguson.

12 rpo off the final 10 overs would be good.

Marsh has no claims. All aboard the Ferg bandwagon.

re Ferguson: Massey, Duchess, Marn ... all possibilities.
I'm hoping for future Tests from Scott Walter, too ... he can be 'Sir Qbilly'
(remembering that all Q'billies are backward)

Hastings, McKay, Siddle and Nannes.
Those Tozzie selectors did a good job of keeping them out of the Shield game

Nice little racist comment from Tony Greig just now-
"The Sri Lankans look in a hurry, they've got an appointment at the local curry house this evening."

Men look better with hair - what is Clarke thinking?
Nannes taking some stick here. Maybe time for the selectors to look at a younger option.

Ugh. A bad start to a long ugly summer.
Then again, we are tripe at this form of the game.

Surely Clarke can no longer be retained in the T20 side, let alone as captain?

Indeed Trev. But farkstick Hilditch will find some lame way of justifying Clarke's continued selection.

To be fair, the batsmen didn't give the bowlers much to work with.

ACIC - Australian Cricket in Crisis.
For a team from the sub continent to come down under and be able to outplay Australia at Perth the way SL did really means that the Aussies have slid down the pole a fair bit. SL are a much improved team too.
