Tony Greig's 'in depth' analysis...
Thanks for that you genius.
Somehow you've got to get a wicket. Somehow you've got to slow down the runs. Somehow you've got to save the match

Well, he does have a point. A bleeding obvious one, but a point.
Neatly expressed in terms of diminishing returns. The next two in the sequence would be "Somehow you've got to avoid an innings defeat. Somehow you've got to avoid losing by an innings and 250-300 ..."

This is good fun. Haddin looks set for a double ton, Prior got a first ball duck, Swann is even worse than Doherty, my stupid brother-in-law is predicting rain and qmy decideded $9.00 bucks on England was a good bet.

Just home from work, nice to see Aus not lose a wicket so far today.
I guess the NSP can take the Kudos for sticking with a previosuly out of form Hussey, and Haddin playing a support role to perfection.

So what do England need to happen to draw this game? Bit of rain would help, plus some head scratching tactics from Ponting, Collingwood in no backlift mode, and some stubborn tail end resistance.

The stupid bastard was supposed to pick up the last five wickets. Christ an average like TGM and a spinning pitch. What more can you ask for? If Straus hadn't farked up so badly he might have the confidence to say ' here' the ball dickhead, it actually get's people out.'
