Wouldn't have expected Bresnan and Tremlett to take the winning wicket in consecutive Tests. This is what makes test cricket so awesome/grouse, it's unpredictability.
Outstanding stuff.

Every victory in this series was by England was by an innings.
Fark, seriously good wins. Not one slender victory in sight.

I wouldn't have him in the ODI squad. He's all right in that format, but Tests are where his skills are best suited. So why not wrap him in cotton wool and just wheel him out for the proper stuff?
Stupid to knacker him by bowling him into the ground in a format in which he's nothing special. IMHO.

Mental. You'd have thought this, going into the series:-
Anderson: useless after eight overs with the new ball
Tremlett: in traction after eight minutes with the new ball
Bresnan: eh?
Swanny: Help us Obi Wan, you're our only hope
Would never have thought they could win even one game unless Swann had an outstanding series. He didn't, they did.

Will we finally get to see some presentations?

Oh, we get pictures but people talking over it. Television rights piss me off sometimes.

And now the pictures are gone. Just 3 old men chatting. Wonderful.

Hopefully Swanny will carry on his video diary for the rest of the tour.

Does he design decorative glassware now? Strange choice of post-cricket career.

Aren't injuries a nice way to avoid responsibility. The only significant series win under his stewardship came when Gilchrist was stand in captain and the only test we lost was when he returned.

It's mental seeing so much English support in Australia. Can't ever remember as many Aussies being in England.

I don't know about you, but I've got a sh*tload of films and TV programmes stored up on my PVR left over from the Christmas period which I haven't been able to watch because of this blummin' cricket bollo taking up my time.
