Yeah, I was a bit flukey on 1996, I was thinking of Srinath but got him mixed up and luckily was the right answer.

Funny how your mind goes blanks - I spent ages trying to remember the name of the South African spinner, then remembered with about 50 secs to go.

'66 and '73 were tough though. Was pleased I got '66 - didn't even realise he'd got that many wickets in his career.

Infact have just cricinfo'ed him - 71 wickets at 20.74, that's a damn fine record, to go with 1,500 FC wickets at 23 - how come he didn't play more?!

You are being a bit harsh on those 2 calling them pie throwers.

And a cracker of an 80s one. I got 68 in this. The only ones I missed were left handers and one right handed spinner who I still don't know WTF he is?

I got 62, my 80s knowledge of subcontinental spin bowlers could certainly do with some improvement. Only got 4 of the left arm fast bowlers too, and I only knew one of them because of this forum. Still, anyone who can guess number 10 for the left arm fast bowlers (and spell it) is a font of all cricketing knowledge.

Surprised Martin Crowe didn't make the top 10 right handed run scorers of the 80s.

The Shane Warne victims quiz is pretty good too, big Daryll isn't on the list. I got all but 1 with 2 minutes remaining then spent the remainder of the time agonizing, with 6 seconds to go the answer came to me but I couldn't spell it correctly. Damn.

In the current Test Pak v SAf in Abu Dhabi Pakster Tanvir Ahmed took 6/120 on debut including the first 4 Saffie wickets to fall. 4 others (JV Saunders (Aus), R Pollard (Eng), I Meckiff (Aus) and RM Hogg (Aus)) matched this feat of taking the first 4 wickets to fall on debut. However there are 6 players to take more than the first 4 wickets to fall on debut. Who are the 6?

Taking the first 5 or more wickets to fall in debut innings:
