BTW - who's idea was it for the Dubbers not to have an import? FFS we played with half a grade team last night.

They're waiting for the private investors dollars next season.
Providing they actually get paid. It seems the private investors come from a country where a contract is worth jack...

What was the reason behind them not retaining Dwayne Smith? Is he injured? He did pretty well for them last season.
Or perhaps they're having enough trouble already trying to pay their big names the figures that they demand.

Erm, what? I have happily advocated that Hodge gets a go, particularly at ODI level (so you don't believe the NSP have marked Podge's & Cossie's files??). You are mixing me up with you, h. I never enjoy an Aus loss, whereas you'll clearly put a loss on a pedestal as long as it showcases some poor performances from any Aus players that you despise.horace wrote:skully wrote:Cossie told the selectors to go fark 'emselves after they nagged him to lose weight again. over many years you have opposed selection of Hodge and bagged him remorselessly...I'm not saying he would have singlehandedly improved our sad efforts over the past 12 months but I a confident that he would have outperfmed punter, clarke etc...his non selection and the abject failure of the NSP to ever bother to talk to him symbolises much of what stinks in Oz cricket

Oh dear, h. Someone has bagged one of your precious Vomits (or so you presumed, incorrectly in your red mist). It doesn't mean I won't advocate his selection if warranted, which I have done over the past 18 months or so. You completely missed the point of my post, which was that Cossie has been tarred by the NSP with the same brush as Podge. But you chose to see it as me bagging your precious dumbo middle order player - which I wasn't.
And besides, you never bag Aus players??? Bwahahahahahaha, that is irony of the highest order, you stoopid old twat. The difference between you and me is that you never let go of your bitterness (e.g. Fleas) irrespective of performance.
You really are losing the plot in your decaying years. Obviously your brain has turned to sawdust.

fair enuff...missed your point...mind you I doubt cozzie should be selected...why not players such Faulkner, christian...etc..
re fleas you overrated his perfomance...but I am sure you agree with me that he is hardly the future of Oz cricket..
all of us make error (me more than most) and equally mourn the plight our cricket has reached..i put my hand up to having supported phews for too long...prolly have over supported generational change - supporting Paine ahead of Haddin (partly on the basis of the latters age and that he has an unreliable technique as a keeper)...of course I do enjoy poking you blokes about the ongoing selection of the new generation of over rated spivs - smith, bogan etc...but then (contrarily as is my way) supported the selection of the uber koala

The Shoemaker-Levy 9 (arrived spectacularly and with great fanfare but disappeared in a poof when confronted with some opposition) of Aus cricket fails again. Phews goes for 2 in the Big Bang v Vomits, playing an atrocious shot.

The other overrated hack of Aus cricket - GCS, goes cheaply. And now Fatty Smith thows his wicket away. Farken useless Spivs. 3-28.

Spivs scratch up 168 thanks to Used Kar Yard and Skull's boy. A target of some sort at least after being 3-28 and 5-69.

Cheers Nath. A very useful if casual catch.
Finch now dealing it out with the bat. Vomits 0-49 after 4.5 overs.

Baby Spivs rock!!! Average age of 23 with a 17 and 18 year old quicks. Abbott and Cummins did grouse. At 1-100 with Podge monstering it, the Vomits were home, but they didn't count on the Dubber spirit. Suck on that Deano.
Spivs do it easy in the end.
And Reeks FFS was Captain. That's scary.

PMSL the Vomits couldn't get the better of a very inexperienced attack.
