Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
At least the Spivs are doing the right thing by Aus cricket and picking some babies to step up. Maybe all is not lost. This Cummins chappie looks pretty handy at 18 and 140+ clicks.

The Dubbers leading the way as always, unlike those crab insular States like QBillyland, Vomitville and Wozmania.

How's his back, though? Stronger than Heazelwood, Haberfield, Starc, et al?

We have an army of young bucks. Sure they'll break from time to time, but they have Blue hearts and will mend quickly.

What a pack of qunts CA are. Tassie has a top of the table clash tomorrow night against the jellybacks & CA are refusing to let Paine play even though its obvious he's not required for the ODI games and because of Horries shoulder we are missing Doherty as well.
I guess a 20/20 title is just not meant to be.

Paine still has a finger problem according to the ABC commentators.

Very un-like Cricket Australia to put the national team ahead of a domestic T20 tournament.

Urgh. I'm watching Adil Rashid opening the bowling for South Australia, bowling leggies and offies, and deceiving Fatty Cosgrove into chipping to mid wicket. WTF he isn't playing for England at the moment, I have no idea.

Just heard Stuart Clarke has been cleared to bowl in a "too lazy too wank" game with eight stitches in his bowling hand.
WTF!

I'm glad i decided not to go to the Tassie game tonight. We are copping it up the rissole at the moment. A combination of bad shots & brilliant fielding means its going to be an early night.

Being allowed in the nursing home's garden for three hours a day is considered a 'holiday' by horrie.

Spivs played like sh!t for 15 overs until Ben Roehrer flicked a few ramps (including 2 zaks) over the keeper's head to get the Blues to 140. Possibly 25 runs short.

Australia has to rush Pat Cummins into the test team. Only 17 & bowling 140 kph plus.
And Moises. I'm sure we are about to see some big things from him. He's the new Keith Miller!

Aye, Wally. Cummins and Abbott again impressive with 3 wickets each to bowl the Spivs to victory. 17 and 18 year old bowling with their brains at 140 clicks is impressive indeed.WideWally wrote:Australia has to rush Pat Cummins into the test team. Only 17 & bowling 140 kph plus.

Phurt. The Kiwi's 18 year old Adam Milne was bowling over 150 kph against Pakistan. He's got them covered.

Although i've gotta say, there's a lot of the young James Anderson in the action of Cummins.
