Anyway: enough of this new year bollocks - c'mon you Aussies, let's see what you're made of.

Four nil to the old dart - well, it's going to piss down at least once!

Oh by the way- Fat lot of good switching the schedule of an entire Ashes series to help better prepare for the World Cup did for England. Six weeks out and we have just sacked the captain, and not much of an idea as to what's our best side.

Business as usual. I think most teams in genera have spent too much time preparing for this World Cup, with all these randomly scheduled ODI series squeezed into the months beforehand. I reckon the team that wins it will be a team that doesn't seem to have put as much effort into it, and is therefore not completely burnt out by too many JAMODIs- The Windies.

The price of being able to prepare properly for the World Cup as faras England is concerned is 17 tests in 8 months starting in April. Thanks a bunch Giles Clarke you qunt.

I'd go along with that - this the best NZ side for a good 20 years.

I think they're a good Test side, but I'm not sure they will be as good in the ODIs. Southee and Boult is a good wicket-taking Test attack, but may not be a good tight ODI attack on roads.

New Zealand's problem is the amount of JAMODIs they are playing before the tournament even begins- NINE ODI's in a row against Sri Lanka (7), and Pakistan (2).
