So we kick off with the Bangers hosting India at Mirpir in 12 hours or so. Methinks a few million Bangladeshi fans may face a disappointing start to the tournament.

Bangladesh put them out last time. While there's time for India to recover under this year's format, the pressure will certainly be on them. Bangladesh on the other hand have a freeroll, beat the two minnows and they might only need to defeat one of the four major sides to get through - and I think they now have a victory to their name against all the big eight?

I'd love to see the Deshis roll the Bannies, beams, but I think there are just too many big guns in the Indian top order for the Bangers to overcome them.

i am a bit nervous about this game. the indians are a bit knackered after flying to bangalore, madras, dhaka and now mirpur

crazy support for the bangles guaranteed. india should have enough firepower to beat them, but the bangles can't be underestimated against the opposition they get most pumped up against

Yep.

Kohli's place looks to be safe for the league games at least. Tough one for Dhoni. Yuvraj and Raina are both his mates, latter more so.

Also, it was frightening to see Sehwag being bothered by injury. But then India's next game is 8 days away so he can have all the rest in the world.
