btw: How are they going to choose the 10th team for the next quadrennial tourney?
Are they going to take the winner of a knockout between the Associate Nations?

Circle jerk. Massive, highly-populated circle jerk. The biscuit will be massive.

Joyzus, interesting Lankan scoreline. 0-282 to 6-308.
And Bots making a reasonable fist of the chase.

3-136? Not really. They will fold like a pair of folding shoes on FB.

"Not numbskulls."
I thought it was numbskulls.
4/62 off 7 overs ... are those good figures or crappy?

Hmmm, this won't last long. They were looking pretty good at 0/115 off 19.4 overs.

Aye. The Bots promptly lost 6 wickets after I made my optimistic remark. Ugh.PeterCS wrote:3-136? Not really. They will fold like a pair of folding shoes on FB.

Shame to see ZIM lose like this
I think Pakistan will win this group with SL second, AUS third and NZ 4th.

Re: World Cup 2011 (II)
I've never played, so correct me if I'm wrong, but surely that particular game picks a loser, not a winner doesn't it? They'd have to play it repeatedly to eliminate them one by one till only one team was left.Brass Monkey wrote:PeterCS wrote:btw: How are they going to choose the 10th team for the next quadrennial tourney?

Re: World Cup 2011 (II)
Going back to the actual answer to the earlier question, there are 10 full members (including Zimbabwe as such), however they won't all get automatic places, I believe the lowest ranked 3 or 4 will have to go through qualifying alongside the associates for the next World Cup. No doubt the format will make sure the minnows need a miraculous series of results to get in though.

Hmm, Crystal's out with a gut strain. That has to help the Paddies cause. Ganjas currently 0-22 off 9.
