Formula One 2011
Qualifying has just finished.
Vettel on pole
Hamilton on the front row
Webber third, 0.8 seconds slower than Vettel
Ferraris not great
Schumacher 11th
And what are the rules this year regarding talking about races while they're on, etc.?

Vettel and his Red Bull car is unbelievably quick. Looks like him crashing is the only chance anyone else has.

Looks like Red Bull are going to shaft Webber for the second year straight.

Team orders are legal now, aren't they?

Or maybe Vettel is simply the better driver?
I like Webber. He's probably the nicest driver in F1, but Vettel is 11 years younger than him and clearly an exceptional talent.

Not sure KERS (or whatever it is) is anything but a hinderance for bigger blokes like Webber. It's extra weight for very little improvement in performance.
That's what someone said once, anyway. Sounded reasonable.

Vettel's gone off like a scalded cat.

I thought it was a very dull race overall. Pity Bleak City didn't turn on some rain to spice things up.

F1s in general are dull (I need more crashes for entertainment).

Perhaps they could tie Clarkson and May to the track, to up the thrills.

Re: Formula One 2011
Easier to be brilliant if your car is a second a lap quicker than everyone else's.
Re: Formula One 2011
Listening to Webber post qualifying and post race, he had a slight tone of accusation about him, as if Red Bull had deliberately detuned his car so it was slower than Vettel's. Could just be sore grapes of course, but given he has beaten Vettel fair and square a number of times, it's food for thought. If the cars were anything like identical then it's hard to see how Mr Chin finished nearly 40 seconds behind Norbert's boy.

Re: Formula One 2011
It was obvious last season that Vettel was getting preferential treatment from the management. I was suprised when Webber re-signed with Red Bull.

It's my new favourite term: sore grapes.
Love it.
