The 2nd half of Mehpril has lived up to its billing. We had 3500 posts up by mid month and have added less than 1500 since then. We may just struggle past 5000 for the month.

Of course the lack of cricket and the innumerable holidays might have something to do with it.

It's been a grouse Easter weekend in Port Macquarie. 6 days in which I adopted a "Fark Flaming Bails" theme. Sorry folks.

But we have cracked 5000. Not too foul when you consider in a basically cricket-free month, we've still managed to defeat the manky performance in Sep and Oct 2010 when we couldn't scrape up 4800 posts in either month.

Even in FB's worst months, almost 200 posts of pure unadulterated bollocks have been made on a daily basis.

Hmm, at risk of "doing a Red", 4500 (worst FB month) / 30 = 150 post per day. Which is still about the rate we used to post at on the old ABC forum.

Well you ae saying the worst of FB > best of ABC.

The original SS was good in its day. Hilda, mynah and I all came from there.

Then they starting banning non DsTV susbscribers which meant no foreign posters. Was relaunched and then after a couple of months banned all new subscribers.

Yes, the current worst of FB = the best of ABC, but we didn't know any better. I used to regularly have a bunch of Aus cricket lovers guessing away at interesting trivia questions indispersed with whatever controversy Warney could find himself in. I remember the joint when apeshit the arvo the news leaked that Warnie had failed a drug test prior to WC2003. And, of course, there was the regular "Murali chucks" banter.
