Selectors are "age-ist". If he looks too old, he must be too old!!JGK wrote:Bolly's got to be next in line for a test spot doesn't he?

Wozzies all out for 389.
Dubbers 2/86 - Kiddie Hughes again out between 40 and 60.

Spivs will take 389 after the Sandies were 2-278. C'mon Fleas.

Evenly balanced. Spivs at 4-213 chasing 389, with Fleas on 82*. Haddit is on 8*, with a big chance to nail home that Aussie keepers spot.

Bet he's feeling a bit toey, knowing that a couple of good scores gets him a baggy green

Nah. He's already pencilled in for Pakistan and Windies. At 30, with a good FC batting record, having already played for Aus in ODIs, and the fact that he's a Spiv, he can now mail the BG he got with his Spiv cap to embroiderers with a note saying "please stitch 400".tac wrote:skully wrote:Evenly balanced. Bolly was carp last year. Just because he's having a blinder this season doesnt mean he's ready. Just look at Hilfy.

37 wickets @ 28 is pretty good.

Not as good as Hilf or even Dorey last season, though ...
form is temporary

Katich 154* as Dubbers limp towards first innings points.
Dubbers would be so carp without him. I think he has to go to Pakistan as he is a proven performer on those pitches.

1st innings points to Spivs (now lead by 73 with a wicket in hand), thanks to another bucketload of runs from Fleas. Consolidates 2nd spot on the Shield table behind the Vile Vomits.

How rubbish are WA? Letting the tail give NSW a lead and then collapsing.

True. But it's a solid season followed up by a spectacular season. Hilf and Dorey could not even manage solid seasons.
