Cheers Nath. Remarkable that he could break his foot on the blancmange SCG wicket. Or was he hit while batting?
And I guess we can all rejoice that some bald wannabee doesn't get a call up to the Aus side any time soon.

Wozzie 2's crab home against Sozzie 2's and make it 4 outright wins from their 4 games this season ....C Wood is the son of Graeme ...and C Robb seems to have replaced the "a" in his name
Blocker Wilson was one of the umpires ...I think this was his first 2nd XI game

He gets double pay, as an umpire and a sightscreen.

Sozzies docked 1.5 points for a slow over-rate.

Cossie axed by the sozzies. Does it get any lower than not being able to make the sozzie team?
Maxwell said on Sunday during the JAMODI that Dizzy was going to make an announcement later this week. Guessing that he's had enough of the barrels and has decided to pack it in.

Aye, noticed that the fat ****** has been dumped.
Was pretty funny how the Sozzie idiots would rave about him as being a great talent, when it's pretty clear now he was cod ordinary.
He's played 6 seasons of FC in Australia and only twice averaged 45+.

I recall someone mentioning it was b/c if he joins ICL, he's not allowed to play for them? (I thought that edict only applied to Internationals though)

Jimmy Maher! (He's Making Eyes At Me!) has joined the retirement line, which is starting to look like a Ron Tandberg dole queue.
He was never quite international class, but he was a valiant performer over many years for Queensland and the Oz ODIous team.

Jimmy Meagre will never live that story down - nobody can be sure he said 'coons valiant' and not 'hoons valiant' - and for that he can blame the morons that tried to make an anti-PC martyr of him as much as anybody.

The WACA’s State Match Committee has selected a 12-man squad for the Retravision Warriors’ Pura Cup match against the VB Victorian Bushrangers, beginning this Friday at the WACA Ground.
There is one change to the team which played the Queensland Bulls in the Warriors' last Pura Cup outing at the Gabba. Vice Captain Adam Voges has recovered from the minor hamstring strain that kept him out of the match in Brisbane and he returns to the side in place of opener Liam Davis.
The teams will be playing for the Ken Meuleman Trophy, currently held by the Retravision Warriors following their 288-run victory against the Bushrangers at the MCG last October.
The trophy, named in honour of the late Ken Meuleman, who began his first-class career in Victoria before moving to Western Australia in 1952, is contested in both Pura Cup matches between the states each season. An outright victory by the Bushrangers is required to regain the trophy.
The Warriors sit in third place on the Pura Cup table with 20 points, 13 behind ladder-leaders New South Wales and Victoria. With just two matches remaining, the team is out of contention for a place in next month's final, however Retravision Warriors Manager & Head Coach Tom Moody says there is still a lot to play for.
"We aim to win every game we play in, and two outright wins in our last two games would be a fantastic springboard to take into next summer," Moody said.
"It would also allow us to finish on 32 points, which would be a positive to take out of this season."
Play gets under way at 10.30am on Friday with stumps scheduled for 5.30pm. 720 ABC Perth will provide regular updates throughout their international cricket and Grandstand coverage. Tickets are available at the gate.
