Canetoads 4 down and still under a hundred. Jimmy Meagre must start wondering why the hell he dropped down the order just to give a Test leg-up to a bloke who literally can't make a run. Especially when he's batting after half an hour anyway.

NSW fighting back, still two down with the Snail and the Kat putting on a hundred. If they take an extra bat to the Windies Katich must now be leading a field of one.

Ropey is about a week younger than Stuart Clark - he was 32 in August.

Alltold not a bad day for the Vaporubs - take Katich out of that line-up and they're stuffed. Vic have two batsmen with it well within them to match Katich's effort and with a bit more support from the others, by tomorrow NSW's score should look a bit ordinary.
