Yes, Australia might be in a bit of trouble at the moment but it's still the greatest country in the world.
You sound like a Yank.

No; a Yank would say the "greatest country in the history of the world".

The ballot box is infinitely better than the armalite. Though the MM could see me change my mind on that.

Pinkos taking a bath in polls
"Popular support for the Federal Government has fallen to its lowest level in 39 years, with a new Nielsen poll putting approval for Labor at only 27 per cent.
Nearly a year since Julia Gillard took over as Prime Minister, her personal approval rating has collapsed and the poll shows 60 per cent of Australians would rather former leader Kevin Rudd was in the Lodge."
--------------------------------------------
A Krudd challenge to the Vulture would be hella funny and massively entertaining.
And despite the poll result, Swanny is stubbornly pushing on with the filthy carbon tax.

I think we all agree, JGK, that if the Libs could get someone with a bit of cred at the helm, they:
a) would've probably sh!t in the last election
b) will probably sh!t the next one in.
Alas, only Turnbull and Hockey seem to be in the wings.

Skulls,
Even if there is another two years of bad polling. The leadership is not changing.
There is more chance of a leadership change in your party than mine.

Don't be such a girl every time I post something negative about the pinkos, Ponts. It's what I do. You are such a big sooky tart.

Well he's not far away from the look of it:
Ms Gillard and Mr Abbott are now tied as preferred prime minister, while the Coalition leads Labor 59 to 41 per cent on a two-party preferred basis - worse than polling when Mr Rudd was overthrown.

Nup. From the relevant thread - the title has a word in it that might make Ponts cry, so I won't repeat it here...
Have you got a schoolgirl crush on Julia?
"The Vulture" will stay as long as you, JGK and horrie choose to use your assortment of nicknames.
skully wrote:By Order of The Head Cheese and mutual agreement (see the Royal Wedding thread - go figure ), it is decreed that there will be a cease fire between the more rabid of the Australian Liberal and Labor supporters on this forum. It is hereby agreed that the following topics will not be used as sledges against our fellow opposite-party-supporting colleagues:
- The recession we had to have;
- John Howard's performance as Treasurer and Prime Minister
- Pink Batts and BER Schemes
- Middle class welfare and Health spending cuts
- General heavy duty sledging of the opposing party and its supporters.
Each group of supporters will monitor adherence to this agreement and dutifully report any breaches. Punishment for transgression is a cyber nudie run in front of the forum audience, and potential full-scale re-engagment in the Blue Ribbon v Pinko "war".

And posting an article about the Pinkos woes in the polls does not constitute "heavy duty sledging" in the context of the pinko posts in the last dozen pages. You can't have it both ways, Ponts, although I know you probably like it both ways.

Go for your life, BD. I have stuck to my part of the bargain by barely posting on this thread. But the sh!tty poll result was the lead story on all the noozes, so it deserves a run. And a 27% support outcome for the pinkos (worst in the history of polling) is pretty funny.Big Dog wrote:I'm not a signatory...
