I'm not really, I just keep up with most sports and Sky are pushing the fight like nobody's business.

The two things against Hatton that you haven't mentioned are:

a) Cuts. His pasty Manc face tends to crack open on occasion and Floyd's likely to hit him in the same spot again and again.

b) The American ref. They're less lenient than the British and because of Ricky's style, I can see him getting pulled back every time he goes inside and it looks like he might be grabbing or pushing.

Hopefully it'll be a classic.

Very good documentary on the Ellis-Michael fight on the ABC the other night ... very interesting even for non-boxing fans.

Floyd sounds more like a boxer.

As the fight draws nearer, the more and more I think that Hatton is going to be obliterated... Mayweather is heavier, taller, quicker and has a longer reach :| .

Reading the boxing "experts" - it seems that lumping on Mayweather at even money looks the best bet for tonight ... though a tempting 5/1 on Hatton looks tasty !!!

I'm tempted to go for "the Lever" bet. Bet on the opposition. If your team/man loses, you win some cash. If your team/man wins you're too happy and drunk to care about the money you lost.

There are rules to the Lever bet though.

Never bet if the price is too short, £100 to win £50 - you have to ask yourself is Fairweather that much a favourite to win?
