"India trail by 8 runs with 1 wicket remaining"
I wonder if they'll send one of the bowlers in to knock off the winning runs.

that last slog just summed up the series for india. mindless and mostly heartless
well done england. that was quite the drubbing, a complete performance. indian cricket will hopefully have a large restructuring process. wouldn't hold my breath though

Has the number one side in the world coming into a series ever been white washed?

Collapse = 7/21.
Meaning they only reached 300+ once. In 8 innings. And that was a scrape.
I mean, even Bangladesh reached 382 within 4 innings.

yeah. they had a home and away series of 3 tests each in the early part of this century. aussies won 3-0 in aus and then the first 2 tests in saffieland. they lost the last dead rubber to leave the final score at 5-1

one hopes so. but one also does not really expect it. i am not sure if the bcci will pay much heed
besides the various other issues on this tour from pre-series preparation to low fintness levels, the most shocking was india's policy with regards to injured players and their selection. now we find sehwag's shoulder is still not totally fine. zaheer's injury was a ridiculous soap opera. the standbys were not like for like. the bcci could not have planned a worse series if they tried
i sincerely hope we lose the odi series as well so that there is nowhere to hide for the bcci
