I actually have an inkling as to what the plans might be.furriner wrote:I see the English continue to be fooled so far by our cunning plans.
Dumb farkers.
If it's what I think it is then it is downright genius and I take my hat off to both you and your team.

I wouldn't blame The One, doremi, or others for baling out, tbh. If that's what they have done.
There's only so much interminable dismay any supporter should be asked to stand.

FWIW, I thought a number of the Indian players showed good dedication this time.
The top order was clearly a bit feeble again. RP and Munaf - not that skilful bowling. Other than that, applied and competitive.

F*ck you JKL you think I was born yesterday?
+0.25 English (& Wales) points, or it's no deal.
PS: All Indian forummers have not bailed, JKL; TO is around, Do-boy checks in every now and then, and Spangler has always been a great comedic relief.

Glanced at the score on the news and thought the Bannies had broken their duck, but alas for them D/L has stepped in.
Well done again to Engulund.

I say check out. They've checked out. The odd pop-in isn't being here. Check out. I love your sardonic 'observations' anyway furris. Top man.
As for England, well done. Didn't think they had it in them, when I went out we were looking f*cked. Fair play for hobbling over the line. Not to be too negative but I feel we were possibly saved by the D/L. It's not like run rate was, it was just the extra runs to get. Anderson run out was sexual, the man's like a f*cking whippet.

As for Stokes, he looked more nervous than a kitten in a new home. Nice shots when at the crease, though. Shame that he's only faced 30 ball in three matches.
Re: England v India, 3rd ODI, The Oval, 9 Sep, 2011
Shoicking shot to get out, though.
Keeping a cool head it was not.

You might be right on the D/L saving us. Stokes? Well yeah, looked a bit overawed. Would like to see him get an opportunity at 4 at Lords on a decent batting surface - we've nothing to lose, scraping another win in home conditions won't prove jack.
Still not convinced a champion England ODI team is going to emerge with RavBop in it. Sorry Rav.

Could say the same about a bunch of them, though. Bell's still crap in ODIs, Bops, Dernbach, Anderson. Bresnan's a solid guy with a mediocre record - and is Trott really suited to the format?
Still more questions than answers for England.

Re: England v India, 3rd ODI, The Oval, 9 Sep, 2011
Exactly. Many deficiencies. Nothing will happen for quite a while though, after all we won't have lost a series this ODI summer. I don't really expect much against a full-strength India on their pitches either. Tonked-and-go-slow I reckon I'm afraid.
