Did you ring up the ABC straight after the granny? A female(??) pies fan called them up and expressed a similar opinion.
If it was you, you sound much older than you look

No I didn't ring up the ABC; I think I heard that woman though. A couple of weeks ago an oldish man rang and expressed similar sentiments about Mick's tactical acumen and got short shrift. I was also watching the tv coverage at the time but would have preferred more talkback callers, especially those fired by emotion rather than inane interviews.

Actually it was me in my avatar the other day.
Back on topic, to nobody's surprise, things were a bit frosty in the box on Saturday.
‘‘We were never mates, we worked on a professional basis,’’ Malthouse told Melbourne’s SEN radio when talking about Bucks and why he didn't accept the coaching directorial role at the club.

Have you listened to the interview?
...or just used one sentence (out of context) from it to fit your own expectation? ...
...or more likely cut and pasted some hack journos article that uses one sentence (out of context) to fit his paper's expectations ?

Actually listened to the interview and another one on the news where he implied that Eade got offered the role had the club he had coveted.
He hasn't really gone quietly.

Like hell with your 'almost'!
That random string of words is about as close to being a sentence as Johnny Watkins was to being Shane warne.
