New Picture Quiz: "Get a grip"

24 bowlers in 34 pictures. Mostly famous.

I think in any case it makes an interesting gallery of (Loch Ness style) manual monsters.

Your task (if you feel like it) is to recognise the hand each time.

Failing that - or to get a bonus point if you hit upon the name - to recognise which bowling action (type, style) each grip suggests. Not as easy as that may seem, as there are some rum old bowlers among this lot.

Two optional questions are: 25 (easy): What do all 24 bowlers have in common? 26 (not so easy): Which is the odd man out of the 24?

Mea culpa: Some of the pictures are very blurred or pixillated. This is because almost all are taken from action pictures, caught in motion. (And some of them are quite old.) Also, it is often easier to find pictures of bowlers having launched the ball, than about to deliver. ~ To counteract these difficulties a bit, in some cases I have included more than one shot of the same bowler (two or three shots of the same bowler under one number)

No, I don't expect anyone to get the lot. It's not an easy quiz.

But please don't moan about the poor quality of the pics, how ludicrously impossible the quiz is, etc etc. - please realise these things take time to do, ..... just eschew if you'd rather not bother!

As a sort of guide, there are 9 (!) bowlers from Australia (or at least, nine who played for Australia), 4 from England, 3 India, 2 each from Pakistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies, and 1 each from New Zealand and South Africa.
