I think Diva has over 20000 FC runs without a Baggy Green. Pretty it's the record for an Australian and up there with anybody who ever played the game.

Acutally Diva has 24,518 FC runs

Coxy had 18644 first class runs & would have walked into todays side. At least Diva scored a couple of ODI's.

Michael Beer had 36 FC runs, has Warner made more than that yet?

Seriously though, the once mythologised and vaunted baggy green has really been cheaped by Hughes, Smith and Lyon... Warner only cheaps it further.

Dravid turned his longterm downturn around, having been written off by all and sundry for a year or more. That's what Ponting has to do, or he's history. If he hadn't been such a great player in the past, he wouldn't have had the latitude he's been given already.
