Re: Aust A v Snoozers
His injury record isn't great. They don't make 'em as tough as they used to. Imagine what someone like Fiery Fred would think of the fitness records of modern quicks?

Aye, and rightly so. Even Pidg must shake his head.

Jessie Ryder equals Andrew Symonds' record of 16 sixes in a first class innings. Has just been dismissed for 175 off 137 balls with 11 fours and 16 sixes.

And hopefully that's the end of any idea of Smiffy being a Test class player.

Damn Snoozies might smash us. The only thing is the quality of their bowling.

Re: Aust A v Snoozers
Answering my own question, the way he speaks in this article, it seems we will have to battle his skills.
""We realise just how difficult it's going to be to beat Australia in Australia. I think even with what has been going on, they've still been an incredibly tough team to beat in their home country so to have a chance we'll have to play pretty well," shared the 32-year-old spinner who will get an idea of Aussie conditions by representing Brisbane Heat in the upcoming inaugural edition of the cash-rich Big Bash League."
-------------------------------------
Darn, I was hoping he was injured.

Can't bat can't bowl. He'd prolly be struggling to get back in the Blues side.
Re: Aust A v Snoozers
Invers and Mickey Arthur are smart guys. They'll flick him now.

Beer 27 overs 1-130. Wozzie crab. He should be banished as well. Another folly of the Hilditch era.

Why did they select him in the first place. Its not as though his form has ever warranted it.
Re: Aust A v Snoozers
Yeah, weird. They sent him back to Shield to prove himself, he did nothing, then got selected for the 'A' game.

Fingers crossed that Invers is way more rational than Hildick.

NZ batsmen certainly got plenty of practice. Ryder is fireworks when he clicks.

Pup is due some luck. Give us a greeny, with Pup winning the toss and inserting the Snoozies.

A greeny with half the Aussie top seven batting for their careers? No chance.

Re: Aust A v Snoozers
In Shield games it's usually a good old fashioned green top, but in tests it usually does a bit for the first session of the match before flattening right out. Look at the first ashes test last year. The pitch just got better and better.
