Has a team ever gone from first to (not far off) worst as quickly as this? I know they've always been dodgy away from home but whitewashes in both England and Australia will put real pressure on the captain and the old guard in this side. Not that the next generation of Test players is obvious...

I can see Dravid being the last remaining of the veterans in this Indian side, he's always up for the fight and looks like the one they would really be lost without.

I wonder what the odds are now on Tendulkar ending his career without that elusive 100th hundred? Getting close to evens either way?

He'll get it somewhere.

You would say that India are now about 300 shy of a remotely competitive total and it would basically need Dravid, Kohli or Dhoni to pull something quite unexpected out for them to get even half that.
