No she doesn't. She copies and pastes what some Journalist thinks, then gives a sort of opinion, using a quote from some other journalist, or the opinion of talk back callers.

Blasphemy! She genuinely doesn't realise that what she posts winds up/annoys some people. She thinks she's doing some sort of good thing by posting all sorts of links here, using the odd fancy word these days because people have often picked up on her poor grammar in the past. I actually think she could be a half decent poster if she gave more of her own opinions, cooled it with the anti-Saffie-ness, and showed a sense of humour now and then.

Of course, I piss off quite a few people as well. Some deliberately, others because they probably think i'm a tosser. Fair enough.

The only good thing I can say about Red is that at least she hasn't snapped, had a big sook, and announced she's leaving the forum. She keeps her cool in the face of an onslaught *Red*Unlike the South Africans*Red*.

Given I have not met her and go only by what she posts, I don't see how you could possibly "know" that she genuinely doesn't realise that she winds up people, Trev. IMHO you give her way too little credit.

I haven't met you either, but I respect your right to post what you think and whatever you like. As you say, she hasn't gone off like most of us have at some point and keeps rocking up to cast an opinion. I don't really see the point of the Dingo and Badger-packing.

I actually give my opinions a lot but when you've been derided by them in the past, a little bit of official corroboration doesn't go astray.

Re. Pippa Middleton my comments were to the effect that people were on the bandwagon. I acknowledged Kate as being very pretty but doubted if Pippa wasn't connected to royalty that she'd be worshipped as some goddess. Even her arse was said to be artificially boosted on the day of the wedding after she's been snapped regularly in jeans where it looks quite different. I said that you will find lots of pretty women around who by dint of their anonymity don't warrant press attention. Pippa jumped on her sister's coat-tails but you'll believe it or not, find plenty of people around who don't think she's that pretty.

Re. my alleged poor grammar, in my other life nothing could be further from the truth. Think people are being harsh given that the majority of us make petty errors or typos when posting in haste. The odd solecism or egregious error creeps in as well. BTW, I overlook most of the errors I see after being accused of pedantry early doors.

As for this whole gender business, people on the Collingwood footy forum accepted me as female and duly met me. I really have never been able to fathom why people would question it in the first place. After all more than half the population is non-male.

And what's the big deal about the odd allusion to talkback callers? - their opinions matter no more, or no less than anyone here. In fact some are highly knowledgeable and articulate.
