Re: Rugby League 2012
Newscastle's run continues as they crush the Raiders.
Bunnies smacking the Tigers 20-0 just before half time.
Looking like 6/7 by the end of the day.

Um, farquin what?skully wrote:S04E10 – Jesse earns his stripes.
- Spoiler:
Gus, Mike and Jesse get on a small plane out in the desert.
Skylar can’t get Walt so goes ahead and gives Jr his new car for his birthday, a mauve PT Cruiser. Jr is underwhelmed. Skylar is a bit gutted.
Ted shows up at Saul’s to be told he has inherited $620K from some unknown European Aunt. Clearly Skylar did this.
Gus, Mike and Jesse are taken blindfolded to the Cartel’s Mexican lab. Jesse mans up and stamps his authority as the head cook there to teach the Mexicans. Gus is impressed.
Jr calls on Walt, who is looking very beat up. Walt goes with a story that he was gambling and got in a fight. He breaks down in front of Jr, clearly stressed at how things are turning out.
Jesse cooks a batch as his every step is watched and filmed. FF 24 hours and the batch is analysed and hits 96.2% purity. Jesse gives a fist pump but loses his smile when told he is staying in Mexico to cook.
Saul calls on Skylar at work and shows her a withdrawal Ted made only an hour after the “inheritance” was deposited. He has leased a top of the line Mercedes. Skylar is disgusted.
Skylar confronts Ted and is gobsmacked at his cavalier attitude to his windfall. She comes clean and demands that he pays his tax bill.
Intense scene at Don Eladio’s. The top dogs in the Cartel gather to celebrate the renewed partnership with Gus. As a show of good will, Gus has brought the Don a bottle of Zafiro Anejo (highest shelf tequila). They all take a shot (except Mike and Jesse – Gus warns Don that he is an addict so can’t drink) but it is poisoned. Gus throws up in the bathroom, and everyone dies, except one or two lower rankers in the house. Gus collapses (some poison in his system) and they race for a car but one of the lower guys shoots Mike. Jesse’s 1st person shooter game practice pays off and he blows the guy away. Mike says “get us out of here, kid.”
S04E11 – Man, what an intense episode!!!
- Spoiler:
A highly prepared standby medical crew goes to work on Gus, while Mike bleeds badly, but gets treatment.
Walt tells Tyrus that if Jesse is out then he quits. He also tells him that Hank will be watching the chicken factory, which he does (with Walt’s assistance) soon after. Hank asks Walt about his face, but Walt bluntly says he’s done explaining himself.
Gus is back on his feet. He and Jesse head out for a pick up point for the trip north. Gus says Jesse is ready to run the lab by himself. Jesse says unless he lets Walt go, he’s got a problem.
Ted seems to be slyly blackmailing Skylar by refusing to accept her money, as he will be still bankrupt after paying the IRS i.e. he needs more than she gave him. Skylar reads it as such. She is desperate and calls Saul.
Gus has great delight in telling Tio (Hector) that he has avenged Max’s death 20 years earlier at his hand, by killing his whole family and the Cartel.
Walt takes Hank on another stake-out but is shocked to hear they are going to the laundry this time. Walt deliberately has a car accident to avoid going to the laundry.
Skylar receives a call from Saul who says he’s got his team on the Ted situation. Saul's guys force Ted to write a cheque to the IRS, which they mail. Ted tries to run but trips and knocks himself out.
Walt is smuggled into the lab in dirty laundry. He finds some signs that someone has cooked in the lab while Walt was off injured. Tyrus won’t answer who, but Walt knows its Jesse.
A sadly pathetic Walt begs Jesse not to take over. Jesse bitterly tells him to get lost. Tyrus shows up and tasers Walt. Out in the desert, Walt calls Gus’s bluff and says he won’t kill him because Jesse won’t cook if he does. Gus admits it, but then says Hank is a problem that he must sort and if Walt interferes, he will kill Walt’s family.
As Saul is dressing down the A-team (is Ted dead?) Walt bursts in and says he needs to activate the “disappear guy” option. He then begs Saul to call the DEA to say there is a hit organised on Hank. Walt heads back to Skylar’s but there is not enough money to pay Saul's guy. She explains to a desperate Walt that she gave it to Ted. Walt initial freaks out then starts to laugh maniacally, just as Marie calls to tell Skylar that the DEA has been informed that there’s a hit out on Hank.

You seem tense. I recommend Breaking Bad. Outstanding entertainment.
FYI, Dig Hive has a free Bob* session of S1-4 at this very moment. Well worth it, man.

Useless Dragons getting crow-pecked by the R00ters. 14-0 just into 2nd half.

Re: Rugby League 2012
Geez, when we sucked at cricket, at least we were OK at the Olympics and Benny had the Drags travelling well. Now it's a trifecta of suckiness.
I fully expect the Bloods to choke big time in the rounds leading into the Finals, then in the Finals.

Actually, the Panthers have stuffed up my tips a few times recently. Them and the Raiders are freaking inconsistent.
