Rugby League 2012
I couldn't remember how many 'e's there should be in leeeeeeg, and was also surprised to find there's no thread for it already.
Anyhoo, the year starts and it's 'sucked in Manly' again. Or at least 'sucked in Manly Warringan'...

In an embarrassing blunder that will cost jersey manufacturer ISC tens of thousands of dollars, Manly-Warringah has been spelt Manly Warringan on jerseys made at a small factory in Beijing.
The flawed stock has already been distributed into Australia's major rugby league outlets, and most jerseys purchased as Christmas presents more than likely have the spelling mistake above the Sea Eagles logo.
The error has been found on both home and away jerseys and wet-weather jackets.

Saw this early this morning. The Coastal Filth have as much quality control in their merchandise as they do in their management-player relations. A massive hissy fit implosion is on the cards this season.Zat wrote:I couldn't remember how many 'e's there should be in leeeeeeg, and was also surprised to find there's no thread for it already.

Hasler takes Manly's 'buy a premiership' mentality to Canterbury.
The Raiders ask a valid question, but since when has common sense had any place in Leeeeeg?

Re: Rugby League 2012
.............. and stiff arm tackles.
Is there anything better than watching a winger sprinting down the sideline only to encounter a big forward putting a coathanger on him? His feet keep moving but his head stays still & then he falls flat on his back, unconscious. Absolutely brilliant.

They also need to get rid of field goals & the golden point. If the game is tied after 80 minutes, then one competition point to both teams. It is not basketball.

Re: Rugby League 2012
Get rid of golden point, absolutely, it's crap. Or if they 'must' keep it, award four points for a win, no points for a loss, three points for an extra time win, one point for an extra time loss, and two points each for a draw after extra time. Or play the full extra time if there's a draw...WideWally wrote:They also need to get rid of field goals & the golden point. But keep the field goal, it's a skill of the game, and piss funny to watch when teams can't kick one late in a match.
